My research relates to geological history of the Arctic and evolution of that area from Neoproterozoic through Paleozoic times. Polar regions are still one of the least studied places in terms of Earth’s history and are crucial for understanding global plate tectonics. My research involves both field and lab work with application of various isotopic systems – mainly used to resolve timing and tectonic setting of sedimentation, magmatism or episodes of deformation. I’m passionate about Earth’s history, enjoy being in the field and hiking!
