Specialized Computer Labs

The Department of Earth Sciences is well equipped with a number of modern computing labs. These labs host a variety of high performance computers, color printers, scanners, and large format plotters. The Department also maintains a number of servers for data storage and computational tasks. 
 
217 Fairchild Hall Student Computing Lab

  • A general use facility with a mix of high performance workstations and focus on GPU computing and general use computers. 

The Citrin Family GIS/Applied Spatial Analysis Lab

  • The Citrin Family GIS/Applied Spatial Analysis Lab is a general use facility led by Dr. Chipman of the Department of Geography for projects related to GIS and remote sensing.
  • Large format (42") print capabilities
  • Virtual Reality Visualization Tools 
  • Located on the 1st Floor of Fairchild Hall
