Modern computing facilities are an integral part of earth science research. The Department of Earth Sciences at Dartmouth College is well equipped, with modern computing labs. These labs include a verity of Windows and Macintosh personal computers, color printers, and scanners. The department also maintains a number of servers including a central file server to facilitate file sharing and document backup.

- A facility led by Dr. Chipman for projects related to GIS and Remote Sensing.

- Provides computing assistance to faculty and staff in the Science division.
