Graduate Student

As a Ph.D. student in Professor Mathieu Morlighem's Ice Sheet Modeling Group, I am broadly interested in the effects of climate change on the dynamics and hydrology of glaciers and ice sheets. My research utilizes machine learning methods and high-resolution ice sheet models in order to better understand the physics of key boundary conditions such as calving. I am also keen to pursue novel glaciological field observations in service of improving model inputs. My interests extend to the cryospheres of other planetary bodies, where I am fascinated by ice shell processes in potentially habitable ocean worlds and the exotic glaciological histories of Mars and Pluto. I previously obtained a B.A. in Geology from Middlebury College and a M.Sc. in Planetary Geoscience from Brown University.
